Which book would you most like to read, and why?
How do your classmates' comments affect your interest in or feelings about a book?
The book I chose to comment on was Abi’s book. The way she expressed her book in a lot of detail got me very interested to see what it would be about. I, being a fan of diary of a wimpy kid books, really wanted to learn more about this divine selection. My classmates’ comments affect my interest in or feelings about a book by giving me an idea on what to read. Also, different topics to possibly research on. Finally, I look forward to possibly read Abi’s book choice.
ReplyDeleteThe book I would want to read is Aaron's book. The book sounds great, and has a title to it. Ialso like to read book that has a series to it because those are the ones that I really read. One example is Darren Shan's Cirque Du Freak books. In the series it has twelve books.
ReplyDeleteAaron's comments on the book makes me want to read it fast. Sometimes I just take a break, an keep still reading. I would take shorter breaks now then before. This is what I think about the commeents Aaron brought up.
I would probably read “A Smart Girl’s Guide to Money” because I’m always having a hard time saving my money. I spend it on shoes, clothes, and accessories. I would also probably read this book to start my own business which would be babysitting. I think this book could probably teach me the steps to starting my own business. Although no one answered Jerusalem’s comment, I did like her comment about this book really helping her to start a business with Sydney. Based on her comment, I believe I can also use this book for guidance. This book can help me save, spend, and use money efficiently.
ReplyDeleteI think that Nigel’s book interested me the most. He added a lot of detail. I think he could have added more on what he thought of the book. The title sounds really different. I love reading books that are different. I also like scary books like GOOSEBUMPS! Sometimes they have a little adventure. I would want to be like Deryn. It would be a HUGE adventure.
ReplyDeleteI would probably read the book Kai said as well. "A Smart Girl's Guide to Money". I would rad that book because I really like money and I want to figure out how to get the guts to save it, not spend it. I would read this book to get info about how to split money well if I were doing a business or someth9ing. This book would really be my guide to actually have money when I don't spend it but I save it.
ReplyDeleteThe book I would like to read the most is 'Yellow Star".I say this because I like to read about Jewish families that been through a lot . When I read books like that it encourages me to do the best in life and be grateful that it wasn't me that went through all the pain.
ReplyDeleteNakeya comment affected my interest into the book by telling how the Jews were treated and what they did to survive and made me want to know more about them. Also her comment has also made me think about might have happened to us today if this was still going on now?

I would like to read the book Enia chose. I think it would be really good to get more background info on WWII. I t is also really interesting to me. I think it would hook me. I like seeing the main character(s) prevail in these types of books.
ReplyDeleteMy classmates comments really heped me form an opinion. They helped me decide. They pointed out good points. They were pretty descriptive.
The book I would like to read is "Peak", the book Imani wrote about. First, I like that it seems intriguing and it sounds action packed. An added plus is that it is also a Rebecca Caudill book. A close second was the book Kai read "Flygirl". But, I am also reading that book and Kai's description really did it justice.
ReplyDeleteThe book I would really ove to read is
ReplyDelete" Sassy Little Sister Isn't My Name ". This is a fictin story by Sharon M. Draper. I have already read several of Sharon's wonderful teen & tween fiction books so I imagine that this book will just be another great book to add to my list of books I've read by Sharon M. Draper. This book seems like I can relate to the character because people are always saying things like ' Sassy Pants ' and things like that to refer to me. I don't like that because my sass makes me who I am. If you call me by my name then you are refering to everything that makes me up like my sass, my looks, my style, & most importantly my phenomenal rate of intelligence.
Metri , who posted this book's review , made this book seem interesting by keeping her comment at a very moderate length. Also by adding various details to her comment.

I really like Jerusalem's book. This is essential for all girls. It can help girls get their dream dress. This could also help people bring a little cash to the table. Times are hard espically on kids.

ReplyDeleteI would also like to read the book Nakeya read called the yellow Star. I want to be able to know more about what Jewish people have been through. I would want to compare their lifes to us black people. Just title is very interesting to me. The yellow star. Isn't that interesting. I mean how she explains it shows that the Jews had to do a lot to be able to survive. I would really want to read this book the yellow star.
The book I would like to read is nigels book. I would like to read that book because it has adventure action and a good story line. It sounds excellent and I like books with adventure in them.
ReplyDeleteAmari Brown
ReplyDeleteThe book I would read is Price Jen and the journey. This was Michael Crockett's book. I would this because I know Mike. He usually chooses great and interesting books. I also would because it involved adventure and secrets.
My classmate's comment changed the way I thought of gifts in adventure stories. I just thought they were given to be nice and help the person. Like Mike said, there is more to a gift than just giving. They are precious and paramount to something.
I like Nigel's book because it sound very interesting. I think a book about a girl dressing up as a man and joining the marines is interesting. I think it's interesting because you get to find out what she went through and why she did it. I think Nigel gave a lot of detail. He also made the book sound interesting so I would want to read it. The book sounds very interesting.

ReplyDeleteI'd like to read Enia's book because I like books that are mysterous. Books like these make me want to keep reading. Because they make you wonder more after every chapter, you'll never get bored. I like the way Enia stated her opinion. It made me want to read her book even more because it gives two stories in one. It talks about how a child has to understand Earth and this not so real world. The father on the other hand, Is suppose to be the model for the son but he isn't aware of that. The summary she gave is a mystery itself.

ReplyDeleteI think all these books could have been great but I liked Nigel's comment because of how descriptive he was about his book. It really seamed like an interesting book. Nigel really told most of the whole book with short details of what the book is really about. I’m not saying the other books are bad and this is the best one but Nigel just gave a great description and if there were other descriptions that were good that would give me a good picture of what the book would actually be like. Nigel gave a good description of the book but I think he should have told more of what he thought of the book.
This is not late
ReplyDeleteI would like to read Aaron's book because it sounds interesting. The Ranger's Apprentice is probably like the Harry Potter series. I see him reading this everyday and he seems to enjoy it.
